bco 3d diamond pattern flexible tpu gel casefor apple iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus (cea-gc-82529-1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dia-js2hf7yhello. welcome to gadgetguideusa. thanks for tuning in. i’m stephen kowalski and i’llbe your gadget guide today as we explore the bco 3d diamond pattern flexible tpu gel casefor the apple iphone 6 and the iphone 6 plus. let’s get started shall we?as you can see i’ve already removed it from the shipping package. i’m not sure exactlywhat the retail packaging looks like. i purchased this directly from china so it pretty muchcame in a bunch of plastic sleeves stuffed into a little shipping envelope. but thistpu or that’s what it’s made of is tpu is thermal plastic polyurethane. it’s reallysturdy stuff so i don’t think it would be
damaged so it didn’t require a lot of additionalpackaging but i figured that was worth mentioning. the company i purchased them from was calledbco. i really don’t know much about them. they informed me that the products are availableon both amazon and ebay. i found them on amazon but i couldn’t find any similar productson ebay but i am kind of lazy so i gave up pretty quickly. i searched for maybe 30 secondsand didn’t find them and then gave up. it wasn’t really important for me to find outwhere to buy them because i already purchased them.as you can see these are for the iphone 6 and the iphone 6 plus. i ordered all theseand was given this for free. i don’t really have an iphone 6 so i’m not really surewhat i’m going to do with it. but hey i
have it and it does actually serve some otherpurposes as far as a prism it does look kind of neat.so let’s go over the colors. this looks like a gray with kind of like a smoky, a slightlysmoky see through. it’s semi-transparent not quite all the way. this one is like agold color and also semi-transparent. this is a bright silver and it looks like it’sa little bit more transparent than some of the other ones and i do like that color. notnecessarily maybe my favorite style but i could see a lot of people wearing it. thispink one is going to go directly onto my wife’s iphone 6 plus and probably be a permanentaddition of course my wife likes the pink color and the prisms are really neat. andthen we have this blue color here. and this
is for the iphone 6 and of course it’s notgoing to fit my plus but i figured i’d show it since i have it. it looks to be the samecolor or the same type of design as that. i would assume that all of the colors areavailable for the iphone 6 as well the same colors that are available for the iphone 6plus but that is just an assumption. i imagine if you shop around you can find them.the thing i like most about this product is it seems to be a unique apple product. asfar as apple products i see them every day. anytime you find something neat everyone youknow already has it so it’s rare to actually find a unique product. something that i haven’tseen a hundred times or something i haven’t actually seen ever before. so it’s alwaysneat to kind of set yourself apart.
i’m going to go ahead and go with the pinkone here. that’s the main reason that i actually purchased these for this pink oneand they are neat. and i’m going to go ahead and hold it up here. of course i have a reallybright light above the camera here and that’s what you’re seeing is that circle but ofcourse it kind of gives you a good idea of what the prism effect is and like i said ireally do find that neat. i guess i might be called easily amazed. i do love gadgetsand things like that so of course take that as you will.i’m going to go ahead and slide it on here. as you can see it slides on really well. itfits well. it slid on easy. it’s tight enough where it’s definitely not going to falloff but not too tight where it’s difficult
to put on.now let’s go ahead and go over some of the features. as you can see it completely coversyour brushed aluminum so of course it’s going to protect your expensive brushed aluminumor i guess it’s not expensive, it is expensive, it’s going to protect all your expensivebrushed aluminum on your iphone. i spend a lot of money on igadgets so i’m definitelygoing to spend a few dollars to try to protect them. if you’ll notice this iphone alsohas a tempered glass cover. so i feel like the tpu in combination withthe tempered glass cover is definitely going to be the minimum amount of protection i’mgoing to put on my iphone. i normally prefer for my own apple devices a really thick casebecause i’m clumsy and i drop mine. i kick
it across pavement often. i don’t know iftpu is going to be the best if you are as rough on objects as i am but it’s definitelyproviding you a decent level of protection. most of my phones when i drop them the screenbreaks right at the corner so you know this is going to provide you some corner protectionin combination with the tempered glass screen i feel like it’s doing a pretty good jobof protecting your expensive apple product. so let’s go over. as you can see it coversall of the brushed aluminum here. it does have like raise ups for your volume up anddown key. they work fine. exactly like you’d assume. it doesn’t make it harded to pushthe buttons or anything like that. it doesn’t decrease response so of course we want that.it does have a cutout so you can flick this
switch. you don’t have to remove the caseto flick those switches. we’re going to go around continuing to cover the brushedaluminum. it does have your power button. like i said this the tpu is really nice. itdoesn’t make the buttons any harder to press. it doesn’t lower your response. you canstill feel it when it rises up and down so you’re not losing anything. there is nocutout here so take that as you will. as we get along the speaker has a full cutout andthese are one of the options i also like about this. just as well as looking neat and beingprotective they actually physically cover your microphone jack or your headphone jackor whatever you want to call it and your power port which in my experience these are thethings that kind of i carry them around in
my pocket, these will keep lint and dirt thatare in my pocket from getting in there and it will actually provide you a modicum ofwater-resistance as well. of course i wouldn’t try to submerge this and say hey it didn’twork but i mean with this tpu cover you’re not going to get any water in there shouldit just be a general splash or maybe even a decent sized exposure so an additional levelof protection is always a good thing. and since i keep my iphone in my pocket lint constantlygets crammed into these holes and we don’t like that.i’m going to go ahead and show the back here. as you can see it kind of adds a prismeffect to each one of these little diamonds. it also has a cutout for your camera thereso you’re going to have full functionality
of your phone while offering protection. likei said i do feel like this prism effect is a unique thing. i haven’t seen it before.it kind of adds a neat effect to the apple icon. it leaves all the words or at leastthe iphone word visible so you know it kind of meshes well with the iphone design andlike i said i do believe that looks cool. we’ll go ahead and put on another colorjust so you can see what it looks like with a different color on. as you can see it goeson pretty smoothly. just smack those corners right on and now we get a different colorand it definitely adds a totally new look to the iphone and that could always be a goodthing kind of refreshing it. this is available for the iphone 6 and theiphone 6 plus.
